The Montreal Christmas Village is located on the Place du Marché Atwater, at the corner of Saint-Ambroise Street and Atwater Avenue, in the continuity of the Christmas tree merchants.  There are 200 spots to park bicycles nearby, and it is also accessible via the Lionel-Groulx metro station and the 35, 36, 101, and 108 buses.

As always, getting to events via bicycles, buses, or metros is encouraged whenever possible.  And, all of the sites are accessible to strollers and people with reduced mobility.

Sustainable Development

The Christmas markets are committed to sustainable development.  To support the elves of the “Green Pole”, please bring your own glass to save $2 on drinks served at all bars.  You can also buy a souvenir cup that will give you the same $2 discount on the next tasting.  All of the funds raised are donated to the Lutinerie, the non-profit organization responsible for organizing all of these free events.

Are you looking for original gifts or special Christmas decorations to commemorate the 2024 holidays?  Or, maybe you enjoy window shopping.  In any case, you’ll find unique items at one of the numerous shops open at the Christmas Village.

From candles and delicious treats (for humans and pets), to self-care items and jewelry, each shop provides something different. For a full list of the artisans providing the crafts, items, and flavors that will make this holiday season even more memorable, click here.

Orangerie presented by Aeroplan

Presented by Aeroplan, Orangerie transforms into a Christmas bar.  Not only is it heated but the lounge is also decorated to provide an even better atmosphere. Surprises and gifts will also be on hand.

Are Pets Allowed?

As long as pets are kept on a leash at the Grand Marché de Noël (Quartier des spectacles), they are welcome!  However, due to a MAPAQ regulation, they are not allowed at the Montreal Christmas Village (Atwater), even when they are on a leash.  Dogs with disabilities are still allowed.

To follow the event on social media, you can find it on Instagram @noelmontreal and by following the hashtag #noelmtl.  For further information, contact 514 (550) 7646 or email info@lutinerie.ca
