The 3rd edition of Ramen Ramen, which celebrates one of the most popular Japanese cuisines is running at participating restaurants from Monday, October 14 to Sunday, October 27, 2024 in Montreal. This event is a must for anyone who loves this infamous noodle dish and it all begins with a screening of Tampopo.
Tampopo Screening
In collaboration with the Festival du Nouveau Cinéma, attendees can view a special screening of the cult ramen movie Tampopo and eat ramen at the same time! With dinner and a movie all in the same location, it is a foodie and cinephile’s dream come true.

This event runs on October 14th at UQAM Agora Coeur des Sciences from 5 PM to 10 PM, with the film beginning at 7 PM. There is free admission and no registration is necessary. More information about the evening can be found on the event’s page on Facebook.
Participating Restaurants
For this special event, several ramen stalls, shops, and pop-ups will take part to celebrate ramen all over the Montreal area.

Restaurant Sign-Up
If you’re a restaurant that would like to participate in Ramen Ramen, you’re asked to fill out this form. Even if you don’t specialize in ramen, your restaurant can still take part in the pop-up portion of the event.
It should be noted that there is a registration fee of $500. However, as stated on the sign-up form, 40,000 people are registered on the event’s Facebook page! The participating restaurants are known to benefit from a significant increase in their clientele throughout the event.
