Eco-Responsibility

While we take away so much from these events, everyone participating is asked to be mindful of a few things while enjoying the venues.  The small ways each visitor can help are:

  • Presenting your tickets using your smartphone rather than printing them.
  • Bringing a reusable water bottle from home (self-service water fountains are available on-site).
  • Using an active mode of transport (cycling to the festival), or a more eco-friendly form of transportation such as public transport, electric car, or carpooling.

The Parterre du Quartier des Spectacles and Esplanade Tranquille is located next to:

– Metro Station: St-Laurent

– Metro Station: Place des Arts

– Bus stop 55 South – De Maisonneuve / St-Urbain

– Bus stop 55 North – St- Laurent / De Maisonneuve

– Bixi Bike Station: Clark / Ontario

– Bixi Bike Station: de Maisonneuve / St-Laurent (St-Laurent Metro Station)

  • Sort any collected waste at the 3 RECYC-QUÉBEC sorting stations: Recyclables, compostables, disposables, cans, cigarette butts, and liquids will all be sorted with the help of the event’s green squad.
  • Any clean reusable containers obtained during the event will be accepted in bars & restaurants.

More information on the proactive environmental steps taken during the event can be found here.
